CEPPOL Toulon, the organization in charge of pollution response and assistance to ships in difficulty within the French Navy, has just acquired one of our collection and decontamination vessels.
In order to meet their desire to collect in the Toulon harbor, the CEPPOL teams approached our shipyard so that we could provide them with a small ship, a WASTE CLEANER 66.
We had the pleasure to welcome today representatives of this anti-pollution unit in our offices in PAIMPOL for the official handover of the vessel. The vessel will first be transported to the naval base of Brest before reaching its final home port.
And for the wink, our teams are now in the colors of the anti-pollution cell of the naval base of Toulon, thank you for the present!
As a reminder, the waste cleaner 66 is the smallest vessel in our range. Built in aluminum, with a road gauge, it is easily maneuverable, allowing a simplified launching by a single lifting point.
A real "vacuum cleaner" of the water surface, this vessel is operated by a single person. Its main applications are the following:
On June 8, World Ocean Day, EFINOR SEA CLEANER reaffirms its concrete commitment to protecting the oceans, collecting waste at sea, and fighting plastic pollution. In the face of this environmental emergency, our teams are redoubling their efforts to provide sustainable solutions for a responsible maritime future.
The Spill Cleaner 250 is completing its test phase before official delivery to the customer in Cyprus at the beginning of March.
