Decarbonation: signature of a project for a 100% electric pollution control vessel for the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille

EFINOR SEA CLEANER is more than just a shipyard: since its creation, it has focused on the continuous improvement of its pollution-control vessels. This improvement work takes into account the R&D work of our teams of engineers and naval architects, who are constantly striving to push vessel innovation to meet today's various challenges, particularly that of decarbonization.

After a successful first trial with our 100% electric Waste Cleaner 66 vessel, which will be exhibited at the 2019 NAUTIC show in Paris, our teams are now tackling something bigger!

The MultiCleaner 100, a POLYVALENT pollution control solution for cleaning at sea, in rivers and large ports, is now going all-electric!

This medium-sized vessel has a solid waste collection capacity of up to 3 T for 3,000 L of hydrocarbon-type liquid waste.

This new 100% electric vessel will be joining the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille by next year. After using our 100% electric Waste Cleaner 66, they were attracted by the acquisition of a larger vessel with greater collection capacity.

Thanks to its green propulsion, this vessel will be fully in line with the GPMM's strategic plan for decarbonization, and will enable the Port to offer its customers, partners and all users a waterfront cleaning service in line with today's environmental challenges.

We'd like to thank the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille for their confidence in us, and look forward to seeing you in the summer of 2024 to see the images of this new work tool for the preservation of our oceans!
