The Department of Fisheries and Marine Research of the Cypriot Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and the Environment had placed an order for a pollution control vessel, the largest in our range: the Spill Cleaner 250.
After a year of production in our workshops, the vessel is about to leave the port of Cherbourg for delivery to the customer in early March.
As part of the contract and our services, our teams will be on site for the official delivery of the vessel and for assistance with commissioning, including crew training.
This 25-meter-long vessel is capable of collecting solid waste and hydrocarbon-type liquids, even in heavy seas, thanks to the self-floating arms deployed at the bow of the vessel.
A true multi-purpose vessel, it can be used offshore for towing, fire-fighting, cargo transport or coastal surveillance.
In terms of wastewater treatment, its collection capacities are substantial:
At the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle, a 100% electric-powered cleaning and depollution vessel will be demonstrating its solid and liquid waste collection capabilities.
From a small corner of Brittany, France, high-performance teams with a passion for the sea and its environment create innovative vessels to clean up and decontaminate the seas and oceans.
We recently sold a pollution control vessel to GRUPO SEPCAN SAPCAN 🚢
