WORLD OCEANS DAY: EVERYONE INVOLVED!

On Wednesday 8 June 2022, we celebrate World Oceans Day!

It aims to remind us of the vital role of the oceans and the need to preserve them. It is an international celebration proclaimed at the Earth Summit and the United Nations held in Rio de Janeiro.

This year's theme will be 'Revitalisation: Collective Action for the Ocean'.

"We must work together to create a new balance with the ocean that no longer depletes its bounty but instead restores its dynamism and brings it new life. (World Oceans Day)

Around this day, numerous festivities are organised by local authorities, museums and associations for the general public (fun activities, citizen actions, conferences, artistic workshops, films, etc.).

The EFINOR group, as a major player in the maritime sector, is strongly involved in the preservation of marine environments.

Ships against ocean pollution ...

Through our subsidiary EFINOR Sea Cleaner, we have developed multi-service vessels with a unique and innovative patented technology for the collection of all types of floating solid or liquid waste, micro-plastics and hydrocarbons.

Choose our SpillCleaner for monitoring and cleaning on the high seas. Its applications are multiple:

Hydrocarbons | Solid waste | Fire fighting | Cranage work | Towing | Offshore lookout | Assistance | Marine work | Freight transport | Personnel transport

... Made of recycled aluminium

Our commitment to the marine environment includes respect for resources and raw materials. Indeed, all the vessels (pollution control, CTV, etc.) built by the Efinor Group are made of aluminium [an infinitely recyclable material] with the aim of increasing the percentage of recycled aluminium for each vessel.

Let's act together for the preservation of the oceans, every gesture counts!
